Just your everyday arcade in Akihabara. Actually I lost count of how many multi-level arcades there were just on that street.
A quick shot of the inside of a Gundam arcade machine, where you climb inside and pilot your mobile suit and battle against other people in the arcade. You also get a display outside with a bird’s eye view of the entire match, showing where each player is and what they’re doing.
99 year old lady has been playing Bomberman for 2 hours a day, every day for 26 years. Amazing.
The best worst wife, or the worst best wife?
CUSTOMER: “Excuse me, I’m looking for something to buy my husband for our anniversary. He’s a huge PC gamer but I already bought him a $300 EB voucher. He already has an awesome keyboard, mouse, headset, monitor and just upgraded his PC recently. He doesn’t like consoles though.”
ME: “Sounds like he’s quite happy with his current setup then. Unfortunately there’s not much else I can suggest since you already have a voucher from another game shop and he’s already got a good gaming rig. Since it’s your anniversary, maybe you could get something the both of you can enjoy together, maybe a Gold Class cinema voucher or something?”
CUSTOMER: “Hmm…. OH I KNOW! I’ll get him an iPod Shuffle. Thanks for all your help!”
